Sylvie Jane Lewis won the 2025 Bridport Young Writer Award and came third in the 2025 Bridport Poetry Prize. Her poetry appears in The London Magazine, Acumen, and fourteen poems. Her work was commended in the Ware Poets Competition and the Free Verse Prize.

Sylvie is pursuing a doctorate in Literature and Film at the University of Brighton, focused on the fairy in literary modernism and early film and photography. Grandmother’s House from Dare-Gale Press is her debut solo publication.
