Nicholas Murray

Nicholas Murray is a poet and literary biographer. Born in LiverpoolNicholas Murray he now lives in the Welsh Marches where he runs the poetry imprint Rack Press. In addition to biographies of Matthew Arnold, Bruce Chatwin, Aldous Huxley and others he has published several non-fiction titles and fifteen book and pamphlet collections of poems. In 2015 he won the Basil Bunting Prize and was a finalist in the 2015 Robert Graves Prize. His Collected Poems were published in 2022 by Melos Press and his most recent collection is a broadside River Run: for the Wye in Hard Times (2024).
